Chappell Roan's holiday hot take didn't go over well, so much so that she was jokingly forced to apologize at knifepoint for her comments.

The "Good Luck, Babe!" singer appeared in a video on an Instagram account run by her and her friend Ramisha Sattar where she dissed the holiday episode "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" from season three of the beloved musical comedy show Glee, per People. The 26-year-old musician previously revealed in September that she had "just started watching" the series, which ran from 2009 to 2015.

"This is the worst episode of Glee I've ever seen," Roan said, with a failed attempt at appearing angry while still laughing. "I'm turning it off. I hate it. Next."

After about an hour, followers were treated to another video where Roan was hilariously forced to apologize for the take as someone, presumably Sattar, held a pair of scissors threateningly at the singer as she said, through laughter, "This is my apology video for the Gleeks that I offended. I am so sorry. I love every episode of Glee, and I love [the characters] Kurt and Blaine."

Earlier this month, the "Pink Pony Club" singer shared the helpful advice she received from legendary artist Elton John and the "good reminder" to keep in mind when it comes to writing songs.
