I had forgotten all about this song, until Kelli Karlson and I talked about it this morning. I just love this song! Dan Baird had previously had a hit in 1986 with his band Georgia Satellites ("Keep Your Hands To Yourself").
This solo hit landed on the charts in 1992. He's gone on to perform with other bands over the years, and he's been a part of a few other projects.
